PRESIDENT: Katie thanked everyone for a successful and fun installation.
Officers for 2024 have been updated on the Region 8 and SAI websites. Also, she is hoping to have a meeting in the near future of the current finance committee, i.e., Rachel, Diana, Katie.
OLD BUSINESS
STANDING RULES/MISSION STATEMENT: The updated IFACC Standing Rules were approved by the chorus and have been sent to Region 8 for approval.
MUSIC CONTRACT: Alana will make copies of the music contract between the chorus and members regarding return of chorus music and will distribute to the chorus for signatures.
P.O. BOX: The P.O. Box is being closed in August, and mail will be sent to Alana’s address.
COMMITTEES (BARBERSHOP RENDEZVOUS): Joy has agreed to plan the Barbershop Rendezvous, most likely in August.
INSTALLATION (RECAP): The recent 2024 installation of IFACC Officers went well, but Katie asked for thoughts and ideas.
Most felt that Laura’s residence was quite ample, though due to inclement weather members were a little spread out.
The awards presented by Katie were well received though it was thought they might be more chorus oriented.
NEW BUSINESS
SMALL CHORUS SUMMIT SCHOLARSHIPS: So far, Rachel and Lucia have agreed to attend the Small Chorus Summit in August. Alana is hoping to recruit at least two more members to attend.
REGIONAL EVALUATION: Katie will complete the Regional Evaluation and submit it to Region 8.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:55 pm.
Respectfully submitted,
Diana Dahl, secretary ___________________________
