ABOUT US

Idaho Falls A Cappella Chorus has been entertaining audiences since it's charter in 1967.  Members reside in Idaho Falls and the surrounding area.   We are members of the Idaho Falls Arts Council.  

Our achievements include first place at regional competition in 2008 and 2009 for small chorus; our score in 2008 placed us in the top five small choruses internationally, and qualified us to compete internationally in Nashville in the fall of 2009.  We then competed in Harmony Classic Division A International Competition, taking second place.  That placed us as second in the world, out of over 400 small choruses.

We have won several other awards in the past including the 2009 Region 24 First Place Small Chorus and Third Place Chorus overall awards.In 2011 and 2012, we took third place in the Division A Small Chorus category.  

At the 2014 Region 8 Regional Competition in Colorado Springs, Co., we took 2nd place in Division A Small Chorus category and 4th place over all.  In 2015 we took 1st place and 3rd place overall.

As a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, we teach our members to sing four-part harmony, barbershop style, and we're always looking for new talent!

The chorus is active in regional and international events and seminars.  We constantly strive to become better singers and performers.  Best of all, we have FUN!   

Our Chorus rehearses every Tuesday night from 6:30 - 9:00 pm at the Rocky Mountain Middle School, 3443 N. Ammon Road, in Idaho Falls.  Visitors are always welcome to come and learn more.
